The De Havilland Mosquito is a British twin-engine, two-seater military aircraft of the Second World War that has been in service since 1941. It was produced in different versions and quickly became a universal machine capable of long flights. Considered one of the most successful fighter-bombers used during World War II. Hailed as a wooden miracle by RAF pilots. Despite the fact that the Mosquito was a modern machine, it was mainly made of spruce wood, plywood and balsa, covered with linen!
Not a wooden, but a block wonder from COBI consists of 452 bricks. The model has many movable elements such as rotating wheels with rubber tires, movable propellers and ailerons. In the cabin, we can place a pilot figure and a head imitating the co-pilot! The block model was produced in a paint job of a historic specimen with its own name "Black Rufe". The blocks are covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. This is a great model for all aviation enthusiasts. Thanks to the faithfully reproduced proportions and details of the plane, the model will be perfect as a decoration for any collection of young and adult history and aviation enthusiasts. The whole set is completed with an aerial bomb and a brick with the model name.
