M1873 Western Decoration-Revolver, Replica, Peacemaker

The Colt Peacemaker 45 (11.43 mm) of simple action appeared in 1873. It was a robust weapon with perforated drum for six bullets and an ejector situated on the right side. It was designed for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1872 by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company.

Today Colt's Manufacturing Company, and was adopted as the standard militaryservice revolver until 1892. The Colt Peacemaker had potency to knock down a person or an animal in one shot. The first model that left the factory was called Peacemaker.
