ROMAN SPATHA COLLECTOR SWORD FROM THE 4TH CENTURY
From around the 4th century, the Romans adapted the long, double-edged cutting swords, so-called spathae, which were originally only used by the Germans.
This beautiful replica is a reconstruction of a spatha from the 4th century AD. The blade is forged from steel and the handle is made from animal bones.
The wooden scabbard is covered with red leather and decorated with authentic brass fittings.
