Swedish Carolean Gorget 1680-1720

This is a replica of a Swedish gorget from the Carolean era 1680-1720. Swedish officers used the gorget to distinguish themselves from the lower ranking individuals.

However, while closing in on actual battles a lot of officers covered up their gorget as to not make themselves targets for enemy snipers and riflemen.
This replica is heavier than the original due to the fact that it is a casting with brass. The original was hammered carefully by a smithy and replicating that is very pricey.
