COBI-2252 - 7.5cm PAK (Anti-tank Cannon) Anti-Tank Gun Kit

7.5 cm Pak 40 (7.5 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40 - "7.5 cm defense armor cannon 40") was a German 75 millimeter anti-tank cannon that was developed 1939-1941 by Rheinmetall and used during World War II.

With 23,303 examples produced, Pak 40 formed the "backbone" of German anti-tank guns for the latter part of World War II, mostly in towed form, but also on a number of tank destroyers such as the Marder series. A modified version of the pistol that was specially designed for mounting vehicles was 7.5 cm KwK 40, which differed mainly from using more compact ammunition, which enabled more rounds to be transported inside the vehicles. KwK 40 armed many of the German tanks and destructive structures in the interwar period and replaced Pak 40 in the latter role.
